Corrections Policy

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it in the open rather than quietly editing the page and hoping nobody noticed.

Telling us about an error

Email thientranvnm@gmail.com with the article link, the sentence you believe is wrong, and what the correct position is. If you can point us to a source, that speeds everything up. We aim to respond within two working days.

How we label a change

  • Correction — we published something factually wrong. The article carries a note saying what was wrong and what it now says.
  • Update — the facts changed after publication. The article says what was added and when.
  • Clarification — what we published was accurate but could be read the wrong way, so we have made it plainer.
  • Retraction — the story does not stand up. We say so at the top of it and leave the note in place.

What we do not do

We do not delete published articles to make a problem disappear, and we do not remove a correction note once the dust settles. A correction is part of the record.
