Fruition Productions, the company behind the documentary “XRP Unleashed,” revealed on X that it is considering renaming its documentary to “RIGGED: Exposing the SEC’s War on Crypto” to reach a wider audience.
The decision comes after feedback during the world premiere at the American Film Market indicating limited public awareness of XRP beyond the cryptocurrency community. The XRP community has shown significant interest in the documentary for a long time, and the proposed title change has generated significant discussion.
XRP Army Weighs In
One community member suggested “TOO BIG TO RIGGED” as an alternative, but Fruition Productions explained that while such a title did not contain “XRP,” it would not effectively communicate the crypto focus to mainstream audience.
Fruition Productions noted that it considered keeping XRP in the title, but the mainstream audience is not familiar with the digital asset. “All they know is bitcoin or crypto,” the production company noted, and they want them to understand that the documentary is about cryptocurrencies.
However, some XRP supporters expressed concern about removing XRP from the title. Addressing these worries, Fruition Productions assured fans that “the edit is not changing and we are still including it in the film’s final title card.” The company emphasized that its goal is to reach beyond the crypto community while maintaining the documentary’s core message.

Contributors and the Release of the Documentary
When questioned about the credibility of its featured speakers, Fruition Productions defended its lineup. The documentary features prominent figures in the cryptocurrency space, including John Deaton, Jimmy Vallee, Steven Nerayoff, representatives from Empower Oversight, and Digital Asset Investor.
The documentary’s central focus remains on regulatory corruption, viewed “through the lens of the XRP army,” as described by the production company. “We really need the average person to see all of the corruption that we know has happened,” they explained, highlighting their intention to educate mainstream audiences about these issues.
Following its world premiere on November 6, 2024—the day of the U.S. election—the documentary is scheduled for public release on November 21. Digital distribution plans include rental availability on major platforms such as Amazon and Apple in early 2025, making the content accessible to a broad audience.
The community has been anticipating the documentary for a long time. It Is expected to deeply discuss the SEC’s lawsuit and war against Ripple. The title change appears to align with the community’s general sentiment, with one supporter noting that it would broaden the audience.
