Can XRP Reach a New All-Time High by 2030? Experts Explain

Experts and analysts share long-term price predictions for XRP by 2030, with forecasts ranging from conservative estimates of over $4 to ambitious targets reaching as high as $28 and beyond.

Can XRP Reach a New All-Time High by 2030? Experts Explain

XRP currently sits well below its peak, trading at $1.49 at the time of writing—roughly 59% under the $3.65 record reached in July 2025. Projections from CoinCodex suggest a fresh peak is achievable, placing the 2030 forecast between $4.17 and $6.29. Meanwhile, Standard Chartered sets its 2030 target significantly higher at $28, and a climb to $25 by 2030 would demand a massive rally of roughly 1,578%.

Where XRP Stands Right Now

Any evaluation of future prices must begin with current figures. XRP changes hands at $1.49, backed by a market capitalization of $93.71 billion. Although the token has advanced 46% across the past 90 days, it remains down roughly 18% for 2026 and 47% compared to one year ago. Investors who bought near the previous record are still facing losses, and the asset requires an approximate 145% increase simply to reclaim its past high.

During an interview with CNBC at Davos in January, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse shared his perspective on the cryptocurrency market:

“I’m very bullish, and yes, I’ll go on record as saying, I think we’ll see an all-time high.”

Despite those remarks, XRP has yet to make good on that outlook, leaving the 2025 record intact.

What Analysts Expect From XRP By 2030

The CoinCodex forecasting model envisions a new record for the token, with every monthly projected figure exceeding $3.65. The outlook projects a low point of $4.17 in August alongside a peak of $6.29 in October, with December anticipated to wrap up at an average of $6.23—about 318% higher than current values.

Major financial institutions project even greater heights. Geoffrey Kendrick, head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, adjusted his 2026 forecast downward earlier this year from $8 to $2.80, yet maintained his $28 target for 2030. In a communication to clients, Kendrick noted:

“XRP is uniquely positioned at the heart of one of the fastest-growing use cases for digital assets — facilitation of cross-border and cross-currency payments.”

Former Goldman Sachs analyst Dom Kwok offers the most ambitious outlook among market watchers. Speaking on The Rollup, Kwok remarked:

“I think it could go over $1,000 in the next four to five years.”

The Math Behind XRP Reaching $25 By 2030

For the token to reach $25 by the end of the decade, it would need to multiply in value by roughly 17 times from its present $1.49 valuation. That milestone represents nearly seven times the previous record peak. At a $25 price point and its current circulating supply, the asset’s market cap would swell to approximately $1.58 trillion, rivaling the size of Bitcoin.

Should XRP preserve its current portion of the overall crypto economy, the wider digital asset market would likewise need to expand about 17-fold. Circulating supply presents an additional obstacle, given that Ripple regularly releases portions of its treasury. If all 100 billion tokens enter circulation, achieving a $25 valuation demands a $2.5 trillion market cap, a challenge amplified by every subsequent token release.

For the immediate future, surpassing the $3.65 milestone serves as the primary test. If the asset clears that hurdle and captures a larger market share, loftier long-term projections may appear more plausible. Conversely, if broader market momentum stalls, a retreat closer to the estimates provided by CoinCodex remains a distinct possibility.
